Trying to get your
daily fill of fruit? Try
dried fruit. Dried fruits contain the same healthful antioxidants,
phytochemicals, and fiber that fresh fruits contain.

Just remember that dried fruits pack the same calories into a
smaller package than fresh fruits do, so adjust your portions
accordingly.

Want to help your body recover from a long, hard
workout? Keep on kicking. You may feel like collapsing after some serious
cardio work, but your blood lactate levels return to normal more quickly if
you follow the hard work with a few minutes of less strenuous activity,
rather than stopping activity altogether. Too much blood lactate can cause
muscle fatigue and soreness.
